Checking and releasing emails from quarantine is a simple process that can help you manage your emails better. By following these steps, you can make sure that important emails don’t get lost in quarantine.

How to check and release emails from quarantine

  1. Open Your Email: Start by opening your Office 365 email account on your computer or through the Outlook app on your phone.
  2. Go to the Quarantine Section: In your email account, look for the section that deals with spam or junk emails. This is often called ‘Quarantine’ or ‘Junk Email’.
  3. Check Quarantined Emails: Click on the quarantine section to see a list of emails that have been held back. These emails are usually sorted by date, with the most recent ones at the top.
  4. Select an Email: Click on an email to see more details about it. This will help you decide if the email is important or if it should stay in quarantine.
  5. Release the Email: If you find an email that you want to release, look for an option that says ‘Release’ or ‘Not Junk’. Click on it to move the email to your inbox.
  6. Confirm the Action: A pop-up might appear asking you to confirm that you want to release the email. Click ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ to confirm.
