At AAG, our values define how we work. They’re not posters on a wall (well, they are, but they’re more than that), they’re the standard we hold ourselves to with every customer, every project, every day, and each other.
This quarter, it’s a huge congratulations to Ben Bedford, Analyse Team Leader, for truly living those values and for being named our Employee of the Quarter. Here’s a little bit more as to why Ben was named employee of the quarter:
Accountable.
When Ben takes something on, he owns it.
He takes full responsibility for challenges and follows them through to clear, effective resolutions. There’s no passing the buck and no loose ends, it’s structured thinking, decisive action, and outcomes that move the business forward.
He sets the standard for accountability within the Analyse Team and beyond.
Adaptable.
Our environment doesn’t stand still, and neither does Ben (he argued he sits still, but it’s a metaphor, Ben!)
In a constantly evolving landscape, he embraces change with calm confidence. Whether it’s shifting priorities, new customer requirements, or internal improvements, Ben flexes his role and approach to meet the needs of the business without losing focus or momentum.
That steady leadership makes a real difference.
Growth.
Since joining AAG, Ben has shown relentless commitment to learning.
He has invested time in building deep knowledge of the business, the industry, our customers, and the people around him. He doesn’t just want to understand the “what”, he digs into the “why”, strengthening both his own capability and the capability of those around him.
Ben always thinks of how solutions and communication will support the customer first.
Innovative.
Ben consistently brings forward fresh ideas and practical improvements that help us work smarter and more efficiently.
He looks at process, delivery, and communication with a constructive eye, always asking how we can refine, simplify, and improve. The result? Better outcomes for customers and a stronger internal operation.
And this might sound like some far-fetched entrepreneurial mumbo-jumbo, but it’s not, because we (and Ben) equally recognise that innovation doesn’t mean we want to change the world every day.
Togetherness.
A true team player and trusted leader.
Ben communicates clearly across departments, listens carefully to all viewpoints, and balances customer needs with what’s right for the wider team. He is respected across the business because he considers every perspective and consistently goes above and beyond to support customers, colleagues, and AAG as a whole.
Although his team have asked for a few more brew rounds out of him.
Congratulations, Ben.
You consistently demonstrate all of AAG’s core values in the way you lead, support, and deliver every single day.
You are trusted, respected, and deeply committed to doing things the right way. A very well-deserved Employee of the Quarter.
We asked Ben how he had found this last quarter, and in a typical Ben response, he said: “I’m more bothered about meeting this guy you’ve just described, he sounds great!”
