Celebrating Jake Hobson – AAG IT’s Employee of the Quarter

This quarter, the SLT are proud to award Employee of the Quarter to Jake Hobson — and we’ve got a whole lot of Honks to give him!

At AAG IT Services, we’re all about working together to help our clients fly further and faster… yes, if you didn’t know our mascot is a goose! We believe in teamwork, efficiency, and supporting each other along the way, you know, a bit like geese do with their V-formation. Every quarter, we take a moment to recognise one of our flock who’s gone above and beyond.

This quarter, the SLT are proud to award Employee of the Quarter to Jake Hobson, and we’ve got a whole lot of “Honks” to give him!

Why Jake Earned This Award

Jake has been a real standout over the past few months, consistently delivering our core values and setting the standard for what great teamwork looks like at AAG.

Here’s why he’s earned our loudest Honks this quarter:

Accountable – Jake played a major role in supporting the improvements on the service desk, often putting his hand up for more tickets without a single complaint.

Adaptable – He’s solid on process, adapts quickly, and has embraced our new structure with positivity and focus.

Growth – Working closely with our 2nd line engineers, Jake resolves many issues with just their guidance, avoiding full escalations, proof that his technical skills are developing fast.

Innovative – He’s stepped up in new ways, such as taking on site visits and providing valuable feedback to improve how we work.

Togetherness – Always supportive of his fellow first-line engineers, Jake brings energy, morale, and a positive attitude to the office. He also gives great hugs.

A True Team Player

Jake’s strong work ethic, technical growth, and positive presence make him an asset to our team and our clients. He’s the kind of colleague who makes the flock stronger, helping us fly in perfect formation… okay that’s enough geese references!

Congratulations, Jake, your hard work, adaptability, and team spirit have not gone unnoticed. We’re lucky to have you on the team, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next.
